Account & Data Deletion

You maintain full control over your data. Follow these simple steps to permanently delete your Borrow account.

In-App Deletion Steps

Step 1

Open Profile

Launch the Borrow app and navigate to your Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.

Step 2

Access Settings

Tap the Settings gear icon in the top corner of your Profile screen.

Step 3

Confirm Deletion

Select Delete Account and confirm. Your profile and active listings will be removed immediately.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your account, your profile details, active listings, and item photos are permanently purged from active systems.

Important: If you currently have active ongoing loans as either a borrower or lender, you must complete the returns and confirm them before deleting your account to ensure community safety.
