1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Borrow mobile application and companion website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Listing Rules.
2. Nature of the Platform
Borrow is a peer-to-peer software platform enabling community members to discover and coordinate the temporary sharing and borrowing of books and useful everyday items. Borrow is not an owner, merchant, or guarantor of items listed by users.
3. Member Responsibilities
As a community member, you agree to:
- Provide accurate item descriptions, photographs, and condition assessments.
- Inspect items together in a public place during handover and return.
- Care for borrowed gear responsibly and return items punctually on the agreed date.
- Use the synchronized two-way in-app confirmation workflow at both handover and return.
4. Prohibited Items and Conduct
You may not list hazardous materials, weapons, regulated substances, stolen property, or anything illegal to possess. Harassment, misrepresentation, or fraudulent activities result in immediate account termination.
5. Limitation of Liability
Users participate in peer lending at their own discretion. Borrow encourages mutual inspection and public handovers to ensure safe and transparent exchanges.
6. Account Termination
Users may delete their account at any time via Profile → Settings → Delete Account once active loans are closed. Borrow reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate safety guidelines.
